Queens College

On May 10, 2012 we visited Queens College. The ride there took about 45 minutes and we had to take the train and a bus. We began our tour by visiting the library, the library was very beautiful. From the outside we could see how the library had a tower on top with a big clock that makes a sound every hour.  But before that we visited the admissions office and we saw pictures of people that graduated from there and were very important, mostly because they were important in the media. According to our tour guide we learned that the GPA to enter the college could be a 2.9  and a 475 in the SAT reading and a 510 on the SAT math. Walking around we saw how there were many varieties of cultures. There was also a pottery sale which had many items that were very colorful and pretty. Queens college also had a big lawn which is good for playing and hanging out. We also visited one of the cafeterias where we sat and ate with all the group. I would apply to Queens college because of the great library, the racial diversity and the great big lawn they have.
